It all looks great – but how does the keyboard compare to a traditional Thinkpad. From he video it looks like the x100e’s keyboard is more “Apple-like”. Im used to the more traditional T and X series keyboard.

muzeklijstje

it looks like a 10 years old IBM

Can you please describe the material the chassis is built from? I know you mentioned that it has a matte coating, but is it metallic?

Also, is heat distribution an issue from what you’ve experienced?

Thanks.

@cenkaetaya1 Yes the trackpoint is very easy and effective…I have a Dell and IBM z50 with trackpoints…excellent response and quick enough.

I didn’t watch any videos, but browsing on Wi-Fi is decent with around 4hrs. I have an SSD on it thought. The CPU on the thing is preatty weak thought, it can’t do HD contrary with what was said on the review :(

CatchupzZz

battery only last maximumly 1.5 hours i tried to watch simpsons max volume and brightest screen.

source: i have a x100e on hands

@kinesis420 Agreed, its the perfect combination of aesthetics and stability. Windows Vista just fails utterly.

Wow dude you got to be kidding me, Windows 7 owns the hell out of XP. I will never go back to that PoS crap.

SWEEEEEEEEEEEEET! lenovo ist doin a great job. it looks so sexy and timeless, like all thinkpads do! no shiny and stylish fanboy shit, this thinkpad is a serious one, for serious people!

No, This AMD CPU is Better and Fast.. The Atom-330 is slow as hell the Asus

USN288

Now we have a Finger-Prints Free very Clean looking Netbook,Upgrade to 320 HDD @7200 rmp and 2 Gb of Ram. .Clean Install Window Xp-Professional,Because ” Window 7″ is just like Vista is Slow as Hell on Earth and used too much Hard driver Space plus Eating up Memory… This Lappy is Very Fast with Xp, which has better Speed than my Atom-330 with the Asus 12″Netbook… This Thinkpad is on sale at J & R NYC. for $430 plus Tax

gn3ricc
