ABC Scan .Net is available in a variety of modes supporting the needs of all levels of users. For the entry level user that only needs to run the system on a single PC, there is the Access version which installs a local database and requires only a single machine running Windows XP. In situations where multiple users need access to the data from multiple locations, there is the SQL Server version which has the ability to separate the management interface from the back-end data store. In this situation, the user interface can be installed on up to three separate workstations (with a single license purchase) with the database residing on one of those three or a separate Database Server somewhere on the network.
