The 13″ Macbook Pro also features a LED-backlit screen with a higher color gamut than most notebooks, a backlit keyboard, and a 7 hour battery that actually lasts about 7 hours, which reaffirms Apple’s reputation of advertising realistic battery life claims. A number of other features like a built in iSight webcam, a Superdrive (CD reader and writer), a Magsafe power adapter and for the first time for Apple a built in SD card reader–all in a package that’s about 4.5 pounds–make this one heck of an attractive little notebook. The one we tested was the lower end model equipped with a 2.26GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor with 1066MHz frontside bus and 4GB (two 2GB SO-DIMMs) of 1066MHz DDR3 memory.

I got my first macbook pro almost a year and I absolutely love it! I’ve been converted from a pc user to mac user. I hear they have a early bird black Friday sale going on right now (Call now: 866-945-0113)…maybe I’ll get a ipad next!

@TKayZ91 it´s not conceivable that apple brings out a new macbook pro so i would suggest getting the current macbook pro (i got it myself as well) because actually it´s not that reconizable that it´s already two years old…
i would get the macbook pro with a 1tb drive and put windows 7 on 500gb of it and mac the other so it will have both will a really good stable body
What would your advice be – get the current basic MBP 13″ or wait till the next refresh? The specs are already around 2 years old, and I need it to last me 3 years whilst I’m still at uni (England). I know it’s not just about the specs, it’s about how they compliment the OS as well and I also like the build. So what do you think?
i have both, mac is better for surfing or media stuff a pc is much better at gaming and it can handle more programs so in my opinion you must have both !
