so as long as you go from almost $1100 to almost $1000 its a budget machine? Who comes up with a figure like that and calls it budget! My $600 machine runs the mac os faster, smoother and more efficiently than the mac’s own “specialized” hardware.. it’s outrageous

Everyone says the same thing about all the new glossy screens being too reflective. Why is the undustry giving up on matt screens? Is the picture actually better? I can’t imagine it is. I swear I’ve seen some LCD TV that still have matt don’t they?
if those changes are subtle then what wouldn,t be subtle

These are very cool, but I’m content with my plastic white MacBook. The way I work with my computer doesn’t need the new features.
P.S. Apple is NO rip-off. Compare NO viruses, NO bugs, better graphics, faster speeds, compact technology, built-in web cam (before Dell got one), durable metal, backlit keyboard, and much much much more, to standard PCs.
Only the Pros get REALLY hot. But the new pros probably don’t heat up as much.
At least it helps on a cold day.

Hmm isnt that bad? like outside i know highly reflective LCD screens can cause a glare which kind of like make its difficult to see the screen

Nice laptop…but its still pointless. If they want to make a statement, sell one for $600-700 to compete against the cheaper PC bottom-end models… since all you can do with something like this is small graphic intensive programs anyway. I would rather spend a bit more and get a laptop with a lot more functionality.
