This was an epic segment, for a variety of reasons.
People say things like, “Oh, in Grand Theft Auto IV, you can pick up a baseball bat, have sex with prostitutes and then beat them to death…ban the game!”
1. Not everyone actually does that, and I’m sure that very few people actually did that.
2. There are other weapons in the game, not just baseball bats…
3. Killing prostitutes is down to the actions of the player. I myself don’t do it, because I focused a lot on the storyline and was actually being a friendly Niko Bellic……
I myself play video games and I can see why people would THINK they corrupt people. But I read this article about a guy who was a criminal and got into fights stole cars etc. BUT when he started playing Grand Theft Auto San Andreas it relaxed him and allowed him to vent his anger and he reformed. The only people who could be corrupted by video games are those with some kind of mental imbalance.
Computer Games are not corrupting our youth! Just because I’m playing them just now doesn’t mean I’m corrupted!

I think the audience DID get it and find it funny but still had the oooh reaction. I like those kind of reactions to a joke – the ones where they laugh and then go oooohhh.
He touched a nerve I think but he has a point, “You’ll laugh at someone beating up a hooker but you won’t laugh at me talking about a woman who died 11 years ago”

Rufus had to defend that arguement well as he does narrate the video game program playr which i think is on Bravo
he was referring to Princess Diana who’s driver got drunk and crashed her limo in a tunnel and she died and there was a hole conspiracy thing about it
