palm is better because it does everything a blackberry does only better. I have the new palm centro only 100 bucks. I have it tetherd to my laptop right now and im only paying 15 bucks for data. A blackberry requires blackberry plan wich is at least 40 bucks.

It's hard to imagine the Blackberry becoming irrelevant. I would think there is a large population of dedicated users, particularly among business/professionals. That said, I can see how the newest generations of smartphones are putting competitive pressure on the Blackberry. If the Torch, with its iPhone-like touch screen, is a disappointment, does that mean the dedicated Blackberry user group prefers the “old school” style?
