Independent test results from AV-Test lab hot off the presses puts the recently launched BullGuard Internet Security version 10 at the very front of the security industry.

BullGuard, specialists in user-friendly PC & Mobile security solutions, submitted its BullGuard Internet Security 10 to AV-Test lab. The results are in, and BullGuard passed with flying colours, leaving no doubt that BullGuard version 10 provides unrivalled protection against viruses and all other kinds of malware.

The test proves that BullGuard’s protection is superior in virus detection, scoring highest among all the Internet Security suites tested in blocking “Real World” attacks (100%), detecting Zoo (99,05%) and Wildlist (100%) malware, and detecting active and inactive rootkits (100%).

“The secret behind these outstanding results is the structure we have chosen for our security suite: We carefully establish a maximum security environment with an architecture based on layered defences and technologies. The layers include a variety of web scanning, behaviour blocking and traditional signature detection tools. BullGuard’s unique way of combining the different technologies guarantees that any malicious code which gets through one layer, will be caught by the next,” explains BullGuard CTO Claus Villumsen.

BullGuard Internet Security also scores an impressive 0,00% when it comes to false positives, both from Windows and Office installations and from popular programs from major download sites. False positives are cases when a file is identified as malware, but it is in fact harmless.

AV-Test’s test result will be published on AV-Test’s website, http://www.av-test.org , in Q1 2011, along with the results for the rest of the industry. However, reviewers are welcome to request BullGuard’s test results
