@jamesfwillett I dont know off hand if you can, there might be a few driver issues, i do know you can run vista but who whats that shit on their computer, You might be able to do xp i just see that it may not be all compatible

hank i was doing some reseach and its bad to downgrade to XP but if i could give u a suggestion because im doing this right now on my netbook im using a free operating system called “xubuntu” u can install it on your PC without losing windows u just need to download “wubi”(just google it) and it runs in my opinion 30X’s smoothier then vista , xp and 7 tell me what u think about it its free no charges at all

I’m looking to buy either a Laptop or a Netbook. I’m entering my first year of college and the computer will most likely be used for school, surfing the web, and as a portable DVD player. If anyone has any suggestions as to what kind of Laptop and/or Netbook I should get, it would be greatly appreciated! Anything helps!
