Google Chrome OS (Chromium OS) booting from USB on my Dell Mini 10v Netbook. Unfortunately, wireless does not work, but cabled ethernet does.

umm so the whole operating system is google chrome thats it no start menu or desktop

On a plus note, Wifi now works with a patch but takes 5-10 minutes to connect.

Has 19 apps, 3 which don’t work in Canada. The “Get More Apps” button is disabled, and there’s no default package manager app.

i don’t think you should ever compare it, windows 7 is in a league a magnitude higher for complexity. i run os x

i have the usb image but haven’t tried it yet since it requires 4GB flash drive and I don’t have any. *sighs*
It having a desktop is a good news though :D

Claro, con Microsoft Surface, para ke kieren eso, busca en youtube Microsoft Surface, Windows ya no va a ser un S.O. para las actuales y futuras máquinas. Y Chrome OS se va a ver mucho menos ke ahora.

I actually like the idea of Chrome OS on a netbook. I don't own a netbook because a netbook running Windows would be too slow and useless to me, but one running chrome os would be perfect
