where do i find the recovery manager in windows xp ??
THIS VIDEO WOULD BE A LOT BETTER IF I COULD HEAR IT
You know, this video is kind of useless if
YOU CAN’T HEAR SOUND TO BEGIN WITH!
How are you supposed to help people who can’t hear sound on their computer when your video doesn’t have subtitles?
Therefore this help video becomes useless.
thanks you for posting this video I had sound !!!!!
wow this is really smart of you “lets post a video on how to fix sound but lets not make subtitles”
>:( i cant hear any think i dont have any sound
The same videos are on HP’s website and there are written transcripts. Go to HP’s main website HP -DOT -COM (can’t write real addresses in these YouTube comments), and there’s an HP video link at the bottom and search for no sound. Play the video and see the Read Transcript link under the video player
I googled no sound on HP PC and this is where i ended up…unfortunately I can’t hear this…
same here.
yea, i was thinking i had 2 buy another soundcard, sorry 2 hear that about u buying 1 (take it back), well goodnews 4 me! i did “another” system recovery, but this time around i turned of the windows updates(unfortunately no updates 4 me),then went 2 my manufactures website(hp) i 1st tried DL the audio driver and tried installing but failed(no audio device detected),then i tried DL the updated bios driver, i installed, rebooted, then BOOM
it fixed it self when i reboted waste o money
wow… i never knew hp did that why dont dell have it
well, it just happened out of the blues,it must have been an update or an error, so i re installed windows(via system recovery) and noticed that the audio didnt comeback,it does comeback(every other 8-10 reboots)but aftr running a vid, or song, the sound cuts, and the sound icon on the bottom right freezes, then i reboot, then there we go again, with the red X on top of the audio icon, its drivin me nuts, lol did u really bought the 200 $ sound card? does it work now?

@acid9757 It depends. There are multiple ways to find it. If you haven’t wiped out the original software the came on the PC, you can probably access the recovery manager by clicking Start, All Programs, and then a folder titled something like “HP Tools”.
If you have recovery discs, you can put in disc one and start from there.
