How to Transfer Music from your iPod to your iTunes

Many people find it very difficult to transfer their files or sync them from their computer to their iPod and vice versa. This process is especially difficult if you are using a windows based pc. With this method you will the process easy and enjoyable to transfer your files. All you need is that you follow the instructions.

First

Make sure that your iPod is charged and check your USB white cable. Connect your USB to your iPod and click NO on the dialog box of iTunes that will appear to you asking for syncing your iPod.

Second

After making sure that your iPod is connected, open My Computer; check your partitions and disks you will find the icon of your iPod it should be among your disk drives with the iPod logo.

Third

Go to your windows top menus and go to Tools> Folder options> View tab> and click show hidden files and folders this is if you are using Windows XP. If you are using windows vista, open the iPod drive and click on Organize > Folder > Options Tab > View and Show hidden files and folders.

Fourth

A new folder will appear to you in the iPod drive. Its name will be iPod control. Open that folder and you will see calendar, contacts, iPod control, notes, photos, videos, etc. you need to worry about the folder named iPod control because this contains important information for your entire music library.

Fifth

Open this most important folder called: iPod control and open the music folder. Copy each one of those (F00, F01, F02, ….) to your computer. Create a new folder on your local hard drive and store these files to it.

Sixth

Open iTunes, Insert the new folder from your local hard drive into “library > Music”.

Seventh

Start syncing all your iPod music without losing a single track of your original music library.

Take care

Do not start syncing before you create the folder on your local hard drive.
