How do I update???Using this method it keeps saying that they’re no updates available..help please…

well 5 months later and i can, i have updated using Nokia OVI latest version.

now in 9/03/2010 I have ver 21.2.045 realy good version I even dont now what improve in this version!!

what you can can do in this small screen on n97 mini
and 32 gb(29.5) if you put some movies (500mb) 32gb isnt so big
nokia cand doo more memory licke the micro sd you have the same small pease (1g, 2g, 4g, 8g, 16g, 32g….)

i did this and it says theres no updates available is there another way i can get this firmware

i bring up the info but there is no “options” buttong to press to be able to update…can anyone help me?

First of all, the camera lens doesn’t get dirty. Display screen isn’t smaller. It’s the same 360×640. The battery may be weaker but it can handle a full day with music on. The price is better, and you can add more GB. in fact, Mini in Finish means better… It’s faster more smooth, no bugs like the old one, better effects, newer firmware, and why would they create a almost same shit if they already had a phone which was the same. Plus it’s smaller which makes it fit in your hand very nice.

Yes, it’s much better. Actually, It’s true it doesn’t have anything to cover the camera lens. But it, you choose how you are going to take care of your phone. My camera isn’t dirty at all. And the screen isn’t smaller. Battery may be weaker, but download advanced battery saver and there will be no problem. Why did they do the N97 mini if they already had a better phone called N97?

There is a software updater in the phone. But don’t buy the N97, Buy the N97 mini. It’s better. The only thing which is different is the massmemory (N97 has 32Gb and the Mini has 8GB) it’s also smaller and it fits ur hand much nicer.

I have a question im gonna buy a n97 (:D) but it’s from september and it’s all new. It has the old hardware but it is never connected to a computer. What do i have to do to get all the updates and stuff. Answer fast plzz

@singhisking531 if you are in a wifi network it won’t cost money, and if you don’t sync nothing is happend but you havent got the latest version of symbian and mayby there are some bugs which wont be fixed without an update so update your phone
