HP DV6000 XP DRIVERS

i was fixing this laptop for a friend and he didnt like vista... soo i re-formatted the hp and put xp.... but hp drivers for xp didnt work... soo now i had to go do some weird shit to ge them now that i got them im giong to share them... these are all the drivers youll ever need maybe it will help someone trying to get out of vista.. i hate hp.. but their hard ware is awsome.. just their programing skills suck balls... oh no sound in the video so dont adjust your speakers.. Cd that i made with all the drivers of dv6000 for xp Rapidshare: rapidshare.com Megashare: www.megaupload.com Base System Device---- its just storage driver link: ftp.hp.com link2: www.mediafire.com (i've added a 2nd link b/c people haveing problems downloading from hp website) update to the AUDIO DRIVER if the audio driver on the cd dont work for you use this driver... www.RealTek.com.tw here is a direct link. I downloaded it and re-uploaded it. For those that dont know how to read the site and all that shit. Go to my direct link just click download on the page. Link: www.mediafire.com on more news OK looks like when your installing the audio it wont work from the CD... what you have to do is install the audio update and then install the audio driver from the cd and ta da it works.. and as for the wireless driver it does work, you have to turn off the button for the wireless that's in front of your PC and then install the wireless and then restart your PC and ta da it works :)... hope that helps more ...

@CORRUPTION1NC you will either have to download the sata drivers which u could slip stream into XP using nlite. Or go into ur bios and trun off the sata support which i’ve also made a video on that in my youtube channel.

google “ukd beta” and it shold be the link that says halfdone at org dot com give me the hardware ID that it gives you. or google it and see if u can find the driver that way. also some xp b/c of where u got it from sometimes the drivers dont want to install b/c of something being wrong with them. you should google grtmhoem dot iso or grtmpoem dot iso adding under score en for english or ur langue. best of luck

i cant give u a good response if u dont tell me what the error is… and make sure u have a dv6000, also sometimes u have to install other things before u are able to install somethings. for example sometimes ud need to install chipset driver before the graphics driver… but also google “ukd beta” it should be the one that says halfdone unknown device.. and u dont need to install it google the hardware id that it gives and let me know if u need more assitance.

That iso cd you made was awesome! You’re pretty sharp. Unfortunately, I’m still having the same problems with getting the drivers to install. I put a new HD in the machine and installed XP Pro. Went to the HP website and downloaded the drivers but they didn’t work. I wa really hoping your cd would be the answer to my prayers but I get the same results. What am I doing wrong?

your probably getting the flickering b/c of the different types of drivers and the windows is trying to figure out which drivers to use. the only way I know how to fix it is to install the xp drivers in your vitual machine where you have xp at.hopefully that solves ur problem but u should also consider installing chipset drivers so the video card is better detected.
