the only advice I can give you since I am not actually looking at it is you may want to try Spybot Search and Destroy (google it). Your ?. Even if you are not connected, it will try to connnect anyways constantly which will still cause your computer to not function correctly. Make sure your antivirus software is up to date. If it isnt, no matter what you do, you will continue to have issues. Always keep antivirus software, and make sure its up dated daily.

hi, thx for the vid, offtopic question, but I have some spyware on my laptop but its not that bad, Can you do everything normally when not connected to the internet is there anyway I can try and remove it somehow manually like from the boot up menu or something? thanks for your help

(continued) if it isn’t the updates it could be a component going bad such as a power supply, video card, ram, etc try to find a tech in your area if the system restore doesn’t correct it.

itguy46176

(continued) once you have restored it. try changing your windows updates under control panel to “tell me when but dont download or install” versus automatic updates. When you have updates available, click the globe, but try custom install and dont install any drivers since your system is working correctly without them. Of coarse this is assuming that the probelm is a result of a windows update installing a driver update to your system. The updates list will have something “driver” in the title.

itguy46176

there is a setting under control panel, system, advanced, “automatically restart……”uncheck that box. Most of the time from what I have seen its a result of a driver update not from the manufacture but from windows update. I suggest you go to programs->accessories->system tools->(click)system restore->restore to an earlier date and check and see if there was a restore point created prior/or on the day you had the problem first began. Try restoring to a calandar day b4 the restarts happened.

thank u 1 last question my pc started to shut down for no reason and i got the the blue screen of death what might it be?

itguy46176

Heat can be dangerous to any computer component, so blowing out the dust helps everything over all but the hard drives are built within a “clean” room similar to a room designed for surgery. One hair from your head can crash a drive if It gets on the platters within the drive so I would say its safe to assume that its built tight enough to prevent dust from getting inside the drive. Just keep the inside clean, allow air flow inside and out circulating by the fans inside. I added fans to mine.

fuckiraq12

i learn the dust thing the hard way, can the hard drine burn out with dust?

itguy46176

if you are asking if you can use compressed air to blow off the monitor yes you can. Just unplug it prior to using the compressed air to blow off the dust. remember never use a vacuum due to static electric discharge can damage your computer components.

BrittaBoo14

can you do it on the screen?

itguy46176

ya hahah..she was soo curious..btw…watch the begining when im actually looking at the cam..u will see her tail bobbing behind me here and there…hahaha…thx for the comment :-)

nice vid. would like to see more

@mrhenderson hey if you plug it into your regular cable outlet can you still receive the hd channels? or would i need to maybe use my hdcable box? please help if anyone knows.

mrhenderson

Ok I have one of these, and they came out with a new firmware update that includes free closed captions, and fixed some bugs. Basically, this antenna sucks at getting stations, so as long as youre connected to a cable outlet in the wall, you should have crisp programming. Your computer mustve been slow if it didnt run that well. Mine works flawlessly, in fact, I watched the 2008 olympics in HD and it looked awesome!

Hi there i have an Pinnacle Tv Tunner Kit for Vista (32)…and after using it for more than a year, i reinstall the hole thing and every time when i tune the channels they tend to stoping every time in like milisecunds and its truely uncomfortable. My configuration when i see tv is: digital cable conexion…i dont know if my driver is a bad one or something so, what should i do?????????
Thanks ;]

incomlive

right now i am using a beta software and the origenal 64 bit drivers, downloaded from german statements and it works for me

sirmasterpimp

I took this device back a week after this video because it was too buggy and had problems with over the air channels. With the inputs that came with it you should be able to record, but I wouldn’t trust the buggy software.

VainOCD

hey, sorry to bother you,
but would I be able to record my video gaming in HD with that device?

thomasmovesinc

can you get some thing for my mac that dose the same thing

BenAndSam3

does the remote have good reponse time?

masaproductions

ok heres what you do to save 70bucks you buy a vga or dvi cable and go on youtube put in fraps for free

sirmasterpimp

yes it works with closed caption, but only for a week unless you pay a $5 yearly fee to keep receiving digital hd television. I kept mine a little over a week and returned it do to false advertising.

ChristerX360

I want to know if this will work on closed captions?

lethalevi7

im assuming your able to plug up your xbox 360 to this considering you have gears of war on your laptop…let me know, thats the only reason I want this.

worm9100

dont know what your saying about not being realiable it works perfectly fine

OctOct1
