Very good idea if pol are smart enough to handle lithium

You forgot to mention that Li-ion batteries cannot be soldered together without the tabs. When you buy 18650′s to replace laptop batteries, you must buy the ones with the tabs or you’ll risk killing or exploding the cells. Lithium is very reactive and when the batteries is punctured or overloaded, it catches on fire.
