@jackffm yes you can, the bios has the option for swapping those keys. i went as far as physically swapping them as well.

redleader55yt

i swear you have the worst fucking reviews. plan shit out next time.

vantageIIx

that keyboard is terrible. when I buy a thinkpad, I want a real thinkpad keyboard, not one of those stupid chiclet keyboards that only the MacBooks can get right.

The best thing to do is to buy the X100e, and replace the HDD with a 128GB SSD, put 2 DIMMs of 4Gb (total 8GB) and you’re rocking!!!!

Crouton351

I didn’t know that netbooks could play 1080p video. Of course it will run slow in battery mode. :) It’s doing great and I WANT one.

@netbooked merci – good news … wonderful

netbooked

@jackffm yes it is possible

Hello,

I wish the mouse nub was more common in other manufacturers laptops. I think it’s a great option, especially if you type, then click, then type a lot.

bjpeter2008

How did you get the x100e with a Japanese keyboard on it? Did you have to order it through the Japanese version through Lenovo’s website? Thanks!

beee000

why would you watch a 1080p video on such a small screen with such a low resolution?

wildzx

Any idea if the Mac OS X be installed on this x100e netbook?

Intel Fanboy? That`s really bad!

chris8sirhc

intel all the way

OMG, space key is so tiny :D ! Either way, wish they released it with dual core CULV for decent performance and battery life maintaining the same price.

@ninetynine123

I friend of mine tested it with new BIOS (1.10a). He got 5,5h (65% brightnes, WLAN deactivated) working with Adobe Indesign and surfing via UMTS. With undervolting you can safe 30% of CPU-energy. So will get one hour more..

Sounds good. I wait for a dualcore X100 until April and than i will buy it, no matter if 1core or 2core. :)

Give me 1,5 month! ;)

Michele,

I have a notebook and it overheats while running videos (using a lot of processing power). I have placed four round “feet” on the bottom of the notebook to get it off of the table surface by about an inch and I run a small fan on the side that gets the hottest. The air flow from the fan goes under and over the “keyboard”, cooling off the notebook enough to show videos. I just watched a couple of South Park episodes and it did not crash.

BTW – I recommend their recent episode – Fatbeard – about Cartman taking a few kids to Somalia to become pirates (to escape the rules, school, and parents). The ending is priceless.

If you don't have a notebook perhaps the air circulation for your computer is inhibited in some way. Or, perhaps, you need a processor fan.

Your MSCOMCTL.OCX is broken, and you should return it to the place of purchase for a refund immediately. My sympathy.
