A Browser that not many no about, i personally use it as my main browser with Firefox as backup, its UI is outstanding and i just think more people need to know about it, so heres Maxthon download link www.maxthon.com

for all u ppl who don’t know Maxthon’s “OTHER” facts, Maxthon uses the IE Engine.

I only just now heard of this browser lol I use Opera though, I don’t use Firefox anymore as it has become too sluggish, and glitchy X(

hmmm, maybe not, i know the developers used Microsoft’s IE core to make maxthon, so im not entirely sure.

i would, i mean, i know you have to hold ctrl. but always atleast try it out, worse comes to worse, you lose 5 mins of your life installing and uninstalling if you dont like it.

I have a question. Are the gestures relatively easy to do on a track pad. Also, im on my old macbook currently so to right click I have to hit crtl first. Would maxthon be worth a try for me?

it is still doing it?!?!?!? i got 10.51 but it is still doing it, the java is WOW but the flash is worse than linux….

ok, i didn’t know there was a 10.51… i looked to see if there were updated in 10.50 but it said there wasn’t?o_0

Yeah that happened in an older build of the alpha version. Go to Opera Desktop Blog and download the newest 10.51.

Not true at all, it’s actually the most stable and fluid of all browsers. Scrolling through Opera 10.5′s flash items is very quick and fluid. No lags, bugs or UI related glitches.

im not a stubborn headed person, please dont take me for one and i apollogize if i sounded snappy. but i keep track of the updates with opera, firefox, and maxthon. right now at this moment, firefox is still the one i use most even over opera because I like full and complete customization of everything i use. my firefox is wildly different then any other and i like that.

Opera 10.5 has just been released and it’s user count has already tripled. Just try it and see for yourself. It’s the fastest at the moment and it’s very customazible.

Some answers to some of the questions in these comments:

There is no Apple version of Maxthon.

The display rendering engine Maxthon 2 uses is one developed by Microsoft, but it amount to only aboutr a third of the program. The third versison of Maxthon, due out later this year, will be a hybrid using both the Microsoft engine and the same rendering engine Chrome and Safari use so it can display any page flawlessly.
