my hp dv5 goes up to 93c in 50 sec. if the energy settings near 90 % on idl !!! It only runs for a while if i change energysettings to max. 65- 70%CPU power! Or it turns of!

Try my copper shim and lower your gpu temps 15%. Only $5 and comes with thermal paste. Search for “DV2000 Copper Shim” on ebay.

@reply4reply Wont work? Why not, people do it all the time? Your probably using a Jovy which is the same IRDA that the T862 uses except its automated. Even so, a JE-7500 costs about 2,000 US. I doubt that puts you up to “half million” pounds

@reply4reply You may want to search through youtube a little bit more. There are at least 4 other ones off the top of my head that do this in the US. Now maybe your the only one in the UK??
