I have a Graphite one. I put a 120 Gig hard drive in it. Added 512MB of ram. I use it with a wireless N USB adapter. Running Tiger 10.4.11 no problems. It’s a great computer. I have a ton of music and videos on mine. Really fast internet. Great screen. Easy to read. For a 9 or 10 year old laptop it’s really amazing.

do you have to have an apple card for internet or could you just use and ethernet or whatever cord

thats a good deal whatever the specs. its more of a collectors item. if you are going to use it for anything besides surfing the web, though, then it wont perform well.

the shape to dis computer is ugly but its a great machine, i got an ibook g3 2nd gen its awsome!

sorry but they are not the max specs for an imac g4, they are on an imac g4:
1.25Gghtz, 1GB RAM, with a 300GB hardrive (But i think the 300 was hacked) if so, 120GB Hd,

They are the special edition.. with firewire… The rare model is the lime green.

I believe that the graphite model 366mhz or 466mhz depending with model you go for..

If you have a mac with tiger or leopard download an app called mac tracker. It tells you all about mac products from the beginning to this date. Its a great app if you like to look into their history.

im currently using a iMac G4 top spec’d (1g ram 100g hard drive 800Mghz). I like customizing/installing new equipment in my old comps to make em as good as the new ones.

iBook Clamshell is around 100-500 Mghz depending on which one you buy. im going to instlall a 80g harddrive with 512mb ram (as high ram as it can support) and be happy. nice vid 5stars.

Ps.Are the Graphite ones more rare? they go for higher than anything else on ebay.

If you don’t like the music, turn your speakers off.. Its not difficult.
