mario party 8, i played it over a friends house and now im buying it

I would say Mario Party 8 because it has a variety of different games on it. If your friends don’t feel like playing a whole round, you can just always pick one of your favorite minigames to play. But if your having like a party of soccer friends or competitve friends, I would probably go with Mario Strikers.

Charged. Might get a bit boring though.

MP8 if you need a 4 player game, Mario Strikers Charged is only 2 player, but MP8 is boring if its single player. So get Mario Strikers Charged because the online will keep you busy.

Mario Strikers is a soccer game, while Mario Party 8 is a party game which plays like a board game.

For a 4 player party game, I would have to go with Mario Party as it has moe appeal to a wider variety of people, unless all the people you play with are die hard soccer fans.

In Mario Party 8, each player takes a turn “rolling” the dice (jumping up and hitting it) and at the end of each round, all the players play a minigame together. The player with the most “stars” at the end of the game wins. This is a good game to play with mixed groups, meaning older, younger, experienced players and newbees, because it has a certain amount of “luck” built into the game, giving everyone a fighting chance of winning. For it’s intended purpose (ie., parties) it’s an excellent game.

mario strikers charged is a really good 4 player game but if you are having parties it probably won’t be that good because it takes a while to learn how to do it.

but mario party 8 would be better for groups of new people because it is a bunch of mini games.

so for multiple people i would get mario party 8.

Mario Strikers Charged is the best!!! I have no clue why the others say MP8 is better. Here’s the skinny…

Mario Party 8
Pros: Great party game, only remotes needed, lots of minigames, better graphics
Cons: Terrible frame rate, low replay value, not-so-good music, parties are more determined by luck than skill

Mario Strikers Charged
Pros: Awesome party game, simple controls, great graphics and frame rate, Wi-Fi play, an insane amount of strategies and ways to score goals, a challenge to beat the Campaign, excellent replay value
Cons: More nunchuks are needed for multiplayer, Wi-Fi play can lag, blocking Megastrikes can be abused

As you can see, Mario Strikers Charged is a better party game. However, you’ll need to be willing to reel in cash for more nunchuks and remotes. Other than that, Mario Strikers Charged is your best bet.

I Like Mario Strikers Charged better. I have played both games in 4 player and i do think the MP8 can be fun but Strikers charged is better
