quick look at my new acer aspire 7740G
heres quick vid to show my new acer 7740G laptop below are the specs also i will leave my good points and bag points in the comments section acer aspire 7740g Intel Core i5 processor. 4Gb RAM (2*2Gb). 500Gb hard drive. 17.3in HD+ Acer CineCrystal LED LCD display with Cinematic 16:9 widescreen. DVD-Super Multi DL drive. ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 graphics with 1Gb dedicated memory. 802.11 b/g WiFi. Integrated CrystalEye HD webcam. 3rd Generation Dolby audio enhancement. Fingerprint reader. Acer MediaTouch capacitive human interface device. Acer CineSurround sound system with five built-in speakers and Acer Tuba CineBass booster. Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit although im sad because mine actually came with standard web cam and not a HD one and the mic is crap also no fingerprint reader here are the good and bad points Good points: 1. the sound from the speakers is very good especiallly playing music and films very clear although could if dont with being louder BUT i think it depends on the song your playing. 2. the screen is very nice and clear when using the net and playing games. 3. very fast great for editing vids and pics BAD: 1. said HD webcam but i got a standard cam grr 2. the mic is beyond bad cant really tell what people are saying, may be to do with the fact for some reason the mic isnt at side of the cam but on just above the keyboard :S WHY. 3. when i play back HD 720p vids i record they are blocky and not clear i assumed this was to do with it being …

@yoyologuy i mean the problem isnt your laptop its impossible, it can only either be something installed on your laptop thats causing the java problem

I have this laptop and i’m using it now but in my opinion its Shit, some dlls don’t work and java is messed up on mine, but i’ll live with it

I live in a very small town atm about 10 thousand people and the best electronic shop is staples. They had the dummer version of this laptop same screan size but with i3-330m clocked at 2.16ghz with 4gb or ram 17.3 inch screen and 320gb 5400rpm hard drive. When i got it i just went and got a 500gb 7200rpm hard drive and put it in and used the 320 as external. Hoping i can get the power plug for poland.
Very nice just found the Core i7 2.66ghz version on Newegg. Soo getting that one.

i thought i would just wwarn people, i had heard with the type of keyboard this laptoop has that the keys sometimes stick and i ignored this….. well my letter i is sticking constantly so i have to keep making sure it works and pressing it few times
