i cant even get passed step 1! i have my device id and have copied and pasted where it should be, but when proceeding to the next step, i double tap ‘step1′ cmd, and no matter what i do, i get the message…

thanks gne0n this is very helpful. However, when I get to the end of setp 2, there are I can see SU fails to install because it can not find the SD card. Can you suggest why this may be?

i have narrowed it down to 2 problems… 1st is that there is no ‘Pid_adde’ anywhere in my registry
secondly, when i plug my phone in flash mode, windows 7 x64 tells me that the ‘sony ericsson dss syncstation’ is not compatible with my version of windows

in step 3 i get :
error : device not found

Just done rooting my x10i to r2ba020.
The main problem is setting up Environment Variables for java.
I uninstall Java JRE, install Java JDK and set Environment Variables.
Search for “Environment Variables for java” in YouTube.
