After I got Skype to recognize the front camera on the Samsung Q1 Ultra Premium, it was time to put the device to the test. James and I routinely have video chats, some we even record and share, so I wanted to find out if I’d be able to use the new UMPC for this. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so I guess a video equates to something like a million. Rather than write that many words, I’ll let you judge the video. You’ll get some early impressions of the HTC Shift from James during this slightly different Geek Session!
haha HTC Shift.
I thought he said that too.
it looks like a
SEGA GAME GEAR
lol i shifted the shift.

This is a very cool device. I tried it out when it was on display locally, but it is not worth the price in my opinion. It runs Windows XP without a hitch but the keyboard was a bit awkward to use.
u can have SO much fun … with me T
sounded like shit instead of shift, the first time i heard it
lol lol lol lol lol lol lol “HTC shit”
does this device run on vista? also does this device have WIFI?
yeah, what kind of configuring did you have to do to get skype to work with this amazing device?
Hey Kevin, just have one quick question about skype on Q1 Ultra Premium. You mentioned in this video about you having to fiddle with front camera to get the skype work. What was the issue and how did you resolve it? Once I get that device, I will be using skype for sure, so your comment caught my attention. Thanks for all your blogs and vidoes. Also appreciate James’ blogs and videos. He does look “cute” on his youtube videos. XD
very nice video quality
cool video! keep doing all this great work!
glad I found you i will start watching regularly
The main reason I bought a Windows 7 PC not too long ago was because I heard I would be able to have video chats from my laptop with one of my friends owns the Kinect sensor for Xbox. I know it's not out yet but a lot of my friends already own an Xbox and some are thinking about getting the Kinect.
Other than that, this laptop that I'm writing this comment from, Windows 7 is simply amazing. I connected my TV to my PC to try out Windows Media Center the first day and it works great. Because of it I tried WMC extender on the Xbox and am lovin' just as much. Instant Netflix on the television, OH YEAH!

where can I get this mode;?
