Though I have repair many laptops, I still remembered the story that I have read on one book about the learning. It’s short but inspiring story for us. As an amateur computer repair officer, that story gave me a good lesson since I have graduated from college for a long time. When I exchange an adapter, or repair the battery, I won’t be proud of the achievement.
The story was happened at the final examination at the end of the fourth year at one university. All the students were waiting for the last exams. Some of them had already applied to company. Some were talking about the expectation of the graduation. All of them were clear that they would pass the last one. In fact, they were quit sure about this point that the professor would not be restricted at the final exam. When they got the paper, there were five questions. After three hours, the professor collected the paper, but none of them were as confident as they used to at the beginning of the exam. He told them that it was not the end of learning while graduated.
There are still many questions that we can’t solve even though it seems ordinary. Usually I face the same situation while I check the Acer 3000 AC Adapter, HP PPP012L AC Adapter or dell D600 AC Adapter. As usual, there is no big problem on adapter. To sum up, there are two situations: one is the defect that the plug or the cable is loose. In this case, just tight the connection can solve the problem. The other situation is disappointing. You have to change a new adapter. I still remembered that I used to repair a dell 4150 PA-9 AC Adapter and expected it keeping for longer time. Thus, it turned out to be foolish. I had to spent 30 dollars for a new one. The old one took 10 bucks to repair. All in all, it’s not worthy once your adapter has problems.
In my opinion, the best choice is to buy a new replacement. Like this Acer PA-1300-04 AC Adapter, it’s within 25 dollars. I can afford it anyway. A new one is durable than a repaired one.There are still more to learn in the practice.
