The 2-in-1 laptop represents a more flexible, personal computing option and over the past few years they have risen in popularity. The device can be used as a laptop or a tablet. They are either detachable, allowing you to completely remove the screen portion from the keypad or they are convertible meaning that there are hinges allowing the keypad to turn around and fold turning the device into a tablet.
But what do you look for when shopping for one? In general, you should look for the same specifications that you would look for if you were buying a normal laptop computer. That means the storage, processor and RAM. Many people who buy 2-in-1 devices do so for artistic usage. So, make sure you pay attention to the extra features to find the device for you.
Currently there aren’t any 2-in-1 devices for iOS so Apple users will not be able to get one for their ecosystem. On the other hand, most 2-in-1 devices run the Windows system while others run the Google Chrome OS. As a result, they will fit seamlessly into any Android ecosystem.
