where can u get this laptop if u live in canada

TechExpertZ

@UraLoza they’re good when you have good lighting. I’ve not personally heard the mic but it will produce echo (like all other mics that come with laptops). Like I said before for the camera you will need a lot of light, without it it’s very dark.

UraLoza

i’ve heard the built-in camera and mic aren’t that good especially on this computer from other reviews but what do you think of it, and yeah i will be using both those features because im heading off to college in a few months and probably will be on it to talk to family and gf

TechExpertZ

@TheMike894ftw Yeah Toshiba makes awesome laptops the Qosmio looks beast :D but the next computer i get is custom built (by me :D )

TechExpertZ

Glad you’re keeping it! It really is a great laptop once you get past the giant mess of fingerprints on the front :D

Great Video. I got this for my birthday from my not so techy minded parents. I was going to return it but after watching your review, I’m keeping it!

TechExpertZ

@yoyodogg96 Yup no problem man. Don’t forget to subscribe! more videos will be up soon.

the driver was bad….. i reinstalled it and it works fine…… thanx

TechExpertZ

If you still have warrenty i would suggest sending it in to Toshiba. If you don’t you might just have a bad driver. I would suggest looking stuff up on the internet about some common problems with the button. Hope this helped!

yoyodogg96

my on/off touchpad button no longer works….. wat to do

TechExpertZ

@jakejackjoe Thanks for the compliment, and I hope you enjoy the laptpo, it’s been great for me so far. Yeah it’s a new camera so I’m still trying to figure it out.

jakejackjoe

i’m getting this laptop in a month or so, and i can’t wait! great review! the only bad part of this video, is that your camera was on autofocus and kept blurring out and stuff all the time. next up-close review, use manual focus, so it doesn’t do that.

Yea it is a kickass laptop had mine for a yr now still strong! I had a compact ran it until I killed it, so this is my new one 20 times better than my compact. Well worth the money!

Just to clarify Fedora's policies: firmware can be packaged in Fedora if it is freely redistributable, even if it can't be modified. That's why Intel wifi works out of the box in Fedora, even though its firmware is proprietary. It is perfectly legal to distribute Intel's firmware without Intel's explicit permission because it's freely redistributable.

RMS is saying that that Fedora *shouldn't* include Intel's firmware because it's not truly Free software. But, if Intel burned the firmware into their wifi cards, that wouldn't be a problem for him. This is the part that I find so inconsistent.

I'm curious, though, that if you are saying that Multi-GPU tech is obviously not the future, and in fact is receding, than why is Skulltrail relevant?

I think for NVIDIA, it is pretty scary how bad multi-gpu is doing. Obviously, that's why JenHsun is so excited about ION!
