The animation is cool, you could show some info in the video.

But for those who don’t know, as soon as I know it brings an ATI Graphic Driver superior to a GeForce.

NitekMuscle

It needs more USB ports.

Lazergoatproductions

@Miaow823 vista is not bad anyway it just requires alot of horsepower in a machine.
you do notice the difference from upgrading from an acer with a Celeron and 758 mb of ram though (MY CASE) HAsta la vista baby

even better! =]

i didn’t get the windows 7 upgrade… *bows head in shame*

SwobyJ

Oh, my model (Satellite L500-00F) I bought a week ago and it has Windows 7. I don’t really like Vista :P so Window 7 is really how it *should* be (basically XP which learned some lessons from Apple instead of failing)

Miaow823

I agree!!!!!!! =]]

It’s five months now since I got it, and every day, I like it more and more.

And Vista (dare I say?) isn’t so bad after all! For me, at least lol.

SwobyJ

I know, I just bought it and LOVE it, but I’m already getting peer flack for buying this instead of a mac or something. For what I like to do (movies, note taking, warcraft, divx movies online, youtube, faster performance, quiet and even often turned off fan, large-ish screen without being too bulky or fragile, lots of space and RAM…etc) this is PERFECT for me :D

So screw the guys that give knee jerk reactions toward it not being ____.

SwobyJ

Yeah my only issue so far are the speakers, which are ‘ok’, but far too ‘tinny’ on most settings. Of course like you said, external speakers and head/earphones fix this lol.

It runs so smooth compared to all the computers I’ve had before.

SwobyJ

@Lazergoatproductions. What? I have to tone down the shadow settings, but otherwise I can play WoW on PERFECT settings with only a few slight stutters ever 10 minutes. (it plays perfectly on medium settings)

I love this laptop – its of the more affordable type for those on tighter budgets (AKA students who don’t have parents to buy a $2000 apple ha!), yet still does most of what you want, unless you’re into more intensive design programs.

TheMike894ftw

@WAHTTHEDIEW Idk, i like mine… Its all in opinion, really.

TheMike894ftw

@HiLoPicoLo Yeah. I absolutely would! These are wonderful machines. I have the Satellite L505-S5990. I LOVE it.
