Not everybody with a GX270 has a service tag that shows Vista compatibility. If your system is able to run Vista 32 bit, go to the Dell site and search for r145551.exe. This is the driver file as of Jan 2007 for the integrated audio found on most systems.

Can you do this for HP computer Driver I get this message saying I need to download a new video card that supports Direct X9 after having downloading from XP to Vista and it says that when I open Windows Movie and DVD Maker.

For some reason the Dell site wouldn’t give me the drivers for Vista for the GX-270, only XP and such were in the pick list. In desperation I googled, found your entry … and about three-quarters of the way in you very clearly *read out the filename* of the downloaded driver . So I then fetched that directly from the Dell site. Thank you!
