yeah, updating drivers could make your computer faster but its mostly about keeping your computer up to date. That mean if you were experiencing compatibility issues with something or you were getting errors, a driver update might prevent this.

Ya..you can clean install Windows 7 onto your computer and *then* update your drivers. Note that clean install will erase all your files and documents. But the official download time for windows 7 beta is over. So you will have to wait till the actual windows 7 comes out (by then you’ll probably have a new computer). Or there are still ways to get windows 7 illegally but I’m not aware of these and don’t recommend it either. I hope this answered you question. Let me know
