Classical works are generally cited, in all citation systems, either as the translated edition (depending on the citation system, it may be listed under the original author with a "trans. So and So", or under the translator's name) or, if you have examined the original text, as the Greek edition. In either case, the date you use would be the publication date of the modern edition.
