I found a few deals on different type of wireless N routers. Depending on how much you are willing to spend and the usage of the wireless router. 802.11n wireless N routers is the third generation of Wi-Fi. These routers are backwards compatible with 802.11g and 802.11b, but if you want the full speed and range of the wireless N router then you must also have a wireless N network card installed on your computer. N routers suppose to have a wider range and faster throughput than either wireless G or wireless B.

Belkin N+ Wireless Router

This is one of CNETs highest rated wireless N routers. It is one of the best ranges of the wireless N routers and one of the fastest throughput for its price and even some higher priced models. A lot of different electronics website gives it good reviews as well. Some of the disappointments of this router were that it did not have dual band support. Meaning it did not support both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency. Having support for 5 GHz frequency was suppose to have less frequency interruptions from other electronics. Newegg.com was the cheapest out of all the websites found. Right now they are having a instant savings deal that would cost you only .10. Even with shipping & handling .89 it is still the cheapest deal. The total would be .99 (w/o tax) with a guaranteed 3 day shipping. So if you aren’t too worried about dual band and you are looking for the most speed and range for the right price than look no further.

Linksys WRT400N Dual Band Wireless Router

If you can spend a little bit more cash and are looking for a dual band wireless N router, then this would be the one to get. Both Newegg.com and Amazon are selling this model at the same low price. 3.60 (w/o tax) including free shipping & handling. So you can’t go wrong with either website. A lot of the reviews on the websites were very positive for this wireless N router. And I have personally been using a variety of Linksys routers and never had a problem with any of them.

D-Link DGL-4500 GamerLounge Xtreme N Gaming Router

If money is no problem for you or your an extreme gamer this is the router for you. Although it isn’t the most expensive thing in the world, it still is quite a bit of cash to pay for a router. Originally the price for this router is 9.99, but Newegg.com has this router for 9.99 (w/o tax) and free shipping. And the special deal ends on Aug. 31st so grab it while it is in the cheaper range. Overall great reviews on this product. The router is already optimized for gaming so you don’t have to mess with the settings. This router has one of the farthest ranges and very fast throughput speeds. So check out this wireless N router if you can spend the extra cash.
